Why is animal-based protein so important?

This topic may be controversial in certain circles, belief systems, or religious groups. N90 does not refute these views but only offers an opinion based on science and years of experience.

Within animal-based proteins, certain nutrients are found in specific quantities that drive N90’s ideas to select these proteins, and an important example is the amino acid leucine. Without getting too scientific, this amino acid stimulates muscle hypertrophy when the threshold quantity is eaten. Animal protein has higher values of this amino acid than plant-based proteins, so the target threshold point is easily achieved when eating animal-based protein.

N90 focuses on reducing the ageing effect of muscle wastage, known as sarcopenia and whilst considering this, N90 favours the selection of animal-based protein sources.
